Hi all,
As I am new in OTRS I have a couple of questions:
(a) I guess that anybody can be registered as a customer in the customer web-interface. When a new customer signs up (registers), what is the procedure after that for him to log in to the system? Will he have to wait for an activation email into his email address? Is there a default password the new customer should use? Or the Administrator needs to do something (for example, set a temporary password) to activate the new customer's account?
When I tried to register as a customer, my account was created but I could not log in the system. When I loged in as an admin and checked the system log I got this error message:
"Error sending message"
"Can't send to 'blahblah@hotmail.com': 5535.1.8 <blahblah@hotmail.com>... Domain of sender address root@support-p.whatever.lan does not exist"
(b) When I create a new ticket as a customer in otrs web-interface, it seems that choosing a Queue is required. However, as a system Admnin, I would like all the customer tickets to be filtered and sent to a specifc queue (even if the customer chooses the wrong queue). For example, if I am a customer and I send a new ticket let's say to ''Raw'' by mistake, with Subject: "Health & Safety problem", I would like my system to filter out this ticket in "Raw" (or in any other queue) and send it to the "Health & Safety" queue (I have already set a filter in the system for that). Is there a way to do that?
I would really appreciate any help...

That's a setting for your system email. Search for root in sysconfig.artemis13 wrote:When I tried to register as a customer, my account was created but I could not log in the system. When I loged in as an admin and checked the system log I got this error message:

Set a default queue:
