Editing history

Post by adam91210 »

Hi I am new to Otrs and currently testing it out for our company to use but struggling with a couple of issues. The main one is editing old posts so that if you were to make a spelling mistake you can go back and change it. This is really important to us as the history would be sent out to customers as a log of work done. Is it possible to do?

My other question is about permanently deleting tickets instead of moving them to another queue. Is there some way of getting rid of the dummy tickets I have created in the system?

Thanks

Adam

First question: No, as this will break the consitency and the auditing acceptability (and if the customer already got the mail this would not change)
2nd Question: yes, via Generic Agent
"Production": OTRS™ 8, OTRS™ 7, STORM powered by OTRS
"Testing": ((OTRS Community Edition)) and git Master
