File permissions

Post by brgsstm »

Hi,

I am looking to make sure my install is secure.

Usually I try to remove write access from the group user i.e. apache and chmod all directories to 755 and all files to 644.

Is it safe to do this with OTRS.

Cheers,

Tom

You should use the bin/otrs.SetPermissions.pl applet to do this from command line
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
