Customers replying to closed ticket emails

Post by knischan »

How do you guys handle that? I have the system set to send notification saying something akin to "your ticket has been closed, let us know if you have any further issues, yadda yadda yadda". Problem is, I have customers replying to that saying "Thanks!!" so the ticket reopens. I do want tickets to reopen on reply, because we want to catch the "Uhh no, you didn't fix it!" type of replies.

I figured someone else has to have had this annoyance, and figured mayhap someone knows an easy way around it...?

The only way to handle this would be to create a filter and close them.
BUT have in mind, that a 'Thanks, hint one works, but I still have problems with the second one.' would be closed, also.
