Hi Guys, I hope you could help me.
I have been ordered to move OTRS from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 R2.
Installed OTRS (latest version on the new machine), Exported and imported the OTRS database. After completion i try login in, but whatever account i use, nobody can login.
The version on Windows Server 2003 is still version 2.4, and thought that the database difference was probably causing the issue. Removed version 3.1 from the new server, and installed version 2.4. Imported the Database, and now users where able to login and retrieve their data. In the next step i wanted to upgrade 2.4 to 3.1, but this cannot be done as long as 2.4 is installed. Read the documentation (which is not easy to find for Windows), and there it said that i needed to backup the database uninstall/reinstall and restore the database, which brought me back to my initial configuration. No matter i thought, and back-upped the database, uninstalled 2.4, and installed 3.1. Re-imported the database, and tried login in, and it looks that we are back to step one. Every user i try cannot login. It always reports: Panic, the user was authenticated but .....
