Hi all,
I've done a search about my problem but I can not find any solution.
I installed OTRS 3.0.10 on a windows machine. Everything seems be OK. As a customer sends an e-mail to help mail account, the ticket is creating successfully and the customer notified successfully too. So my SMTP and POP settings are working fine. But my agents do not receive a notification if any of them assigned as owner. Also they do not receive any e-mails due to their profile settings.
Furthermore I created a Notifications (Event) at Ticket Settings so the system should send an information mail all Agents about that a new ticket has created. But it works not too.
Could you please redirect me to a solution, guide?

Does the System Log indicate failure reasons?
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

System Log is completely empty :S
Now I figured out that the log file is under some install folders.
Here is the error I received;
[Fri Oct 14 15:30:30 2011][Error][Kernel::System::Email::SMTP::Send][163] Can't send message: 550Start mail input; end with <CRLF>.<CRLF>
5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to send as this sender
! Enable Net::SMTP debug for more info!
I am going to find a way to enable SMTP logging.
Now I figured out that the log file is under some install folders.

This means the user assigned to the SMTP authentication does not allow sending from other than the authenticated user.Client does not have permissions to send as this sender
Places to verify:
- Queue System Address (Admin, Queues)
- Notification Sender (SysConfig)
- System Email Address (Admin Panel Box for Email Addresses)

System Email Address (SysConfig) updated to the support mail address registered to OTRS.

Can you tell me where the 'System Email Address' is located in SysConfig?

it is not in sysconfig. It is in the admin panel in the box at the right upper corner
