[Closed] How to Change port for OTRS installation?

Hi All,

I am new comer in OTRS, I've already downloaded and want continue to install in my server.
just info I using Win Server 2K8 R2 for Operating System.
but after finished the installation process, I got error where it's look caused crash for my SharePoint.
My Share point use port:80 (as a default web port) and OTRS is use same port.
so if I try to run/click OTRS interface, the browser page need authentification to SharePoint Product.

just my guess, it all caused by same port between SharePoint and OTRS, so through this thread I want to know how to change the port number for OTRS installation?

you need to change the settings for the apache webserver. But typically OTRS should run on its on server

Can you give me the explanation how to do that? I've changing to set the apache listening port on apache/conf at httpd.conf file.
but still not works.

did you restart apache

Hi Rory,

I have the same problem like you had, you mentioned changing the apache listening port on apache/conf at httpd.conf file, and I am trying to find that file but I couldn't.
Do you still have the exact location (under C:\Program Files (x86)\OTRS\??? )for that file?
