When is a source modification committed?

Post by HervE »

Hello forum,

Just a small simple question:
When is a source modification committed?

I noticed when I make a modification in a .pm file, it might take some time before I can see the change in OTRS.
What is this delay due to?
Is there an action to do in order to be sure the new .pm is taken into account?

Regards,
HervE

Hm, if you use mod_perl but not Apache::Reload / Apache2::Reload then you need to restart apache after each change.

Hello Alexander,

Thank you for your answer.

I use mod_perl, but I don't know about Apache::Reload or Apache2::Reload! What's that? How is it enabled? What's the impact?
