pasting images in rich text editor not working in ie8

Hi All,

Is there any way to paste images(screenshots) directly in rich text editor in ticket reply using internet explorer.

It is working with firefox But not with Internet explorer

Any help is appreciated in resolving this

PS: The otrs version We use is 3.1.2

well, It is mentioned in release note that pasting images in rich text editor is supported by ie

can any upgrade to newer version will resolve it?

In the release notes the following is stated:

OTRS can now handle images that have been directly pasted from the clipboard into the rich text editor. A precondition is that the format of the image is base64-encoded. Currently this is supported by Firefox for Windows
