Encoding problem

Hi,
I'm using OTRS in using a frensh language,and when i import CIs in using CSV file ,i get data in wrong code .i'm configuring my mysql to be in utf-8,but i have the same problem .

this needs to be done by the tool which creates the CSV file or use a characterset conversion toll like recode.

Hi,
I'm using Microsoft 2010,how can i change the charactersert to utf-8,because in the code it's configured as utf-8 and also in mysql
so the problem is in my Microsoft 2012 i think .

And also the problem that i'm configuring the traduction english to frensh,but in my CSV imported,
the informations is english (values of generalcatalog),how can activate traduction in my import export .

values won't be translated for import/export as they need to be the same like the database values

Ok thank you,so i must use frensh value in my Database ,it's OK
but i'm also have a problem with accents like é or à ,it's a problem of characterset despite of using utf-8 in my database .
