I have been trying to reply to test tickets that I created to verify that updates can be sent to the ticket system.
I cannot get it to automatically do this. If I go into the Mail Account Management and run the fetch mail manually it works fine. I have given it up to 60 minutes to see if it would work and it will not.
Are there some mail logs somewhere i can check? Check all other logs and could find nothing.
I tried changing some timers in the cron jobs of the otrs/var/cron folder. Specifcally the files fetchmail, postmaster, and postmaster_mailbox but without any favourable results.
Am i missing something?
Malcolm

Re: Updates via Email
Thanks, that didn't solve my problem but it did point to the fact that I did not have crontab installed. All is working. Thanks a million.
