PGP/SMIME on windows

I'm a newbie in this thing.. I wanna ask, is windows compatible for PGP/SMIME configuration? If yes, may i know the steps on how to turn them on OTRS?

as you need external tools like gnupg and openssl I strongly recommend not to use windows

Linux, I would use ubuntu

Thanks! i will try to use ubuntu then.. emm btw I'm not really familiar with ubuntu.. can you provide me the steps of how to install otrs on ubuntu and set the pgp?

for the base installation follow the INSTALL file.

apache should run as OTRS user

install gnupg

create a new keyring for OTRS user

activate gpg on OTRS
