Dear all,
I'm new to the amazing OTRS so maybe this is an easy question but after half day unsuccessful searching I decided to ask the forum.
I would like to have the possibility to open tickets without a mandatory customer data. Or at least the customer e-mail should be optional (rest can be handled with some default value). Is that possible without digging deeply into the core?
Reason: we would like to open tickets based on phone calls of unknown or partially known customers. The Customer Frontend won't be used at all.

Thanks for the surprisingly quick answer. The solutions described at the pages you suggested were also my thoughts - I just hoped there was a more elegant way
