Hi all,
is it possible to automatically add the CustomerID to the front of the subject when answering a ticket?
Adding <OTRS_TICKET_CustomerID> to Ticket -> Sysconfig\Core::Ticket doesn't help
As a work around I've put <OTRS_TICKET_CustomerID> into the top of the Salutation and the agent just cut and pastes it in.

Yes I could do that although that would give me the same result as using the Salutation wouldn't it?crythias wrote:or include it in the Body in sysconfig?
Are you saying it can't work in the Subject line?

Re: CustomerID in the reply subject?
It's more global in the body, and doesn't require a copy/paste like you indicated.morecw wrote:Yes I could do that although that would give me the same result as using the Salutation wouldn't it?

I'm saying nothing otrs_x will work in the subject line, although if you search a bit you might find someone who extended the subject generation, maybe stuck it in the number generator.

Re: CustomerID in the reply subject?
I'm not so sure about that. I would still need to cut/paste it from the Body text to the subject and I have that already using the Salutation.It's more global in the body, and doesn't require a copy/paste like you indicated.
I'll have a search around and hope maybe someone even suggests how-to in this postI'm saying nothing otrs_x will work in the subject line, although if you search a bit you might find someone who extended the subject generation, maybe stuck it in the number generator.
Thanks anyway!
