I've noticed that the new OTRS 3.1.8 has been released

Does anybody know anything about it?
Thanks in advance

I guess, but if you're not at 3.1.7 (?), you may have other caveats to address with regard to upgrading your schema, database.eturconi wrote:I got no 3.1.7 installed and so I should before upgrade on 3.1.7 and then 3.1.8.....
No. I'm just a board lurker.eturconi wrote:Do u know why is not been released the otrs4win package?
Possibly, though my previous answer would be my method of choice if I were to do it since this is a patch release.eturconi wrote:Will it be released (maybe not?) soon?
What were the error messages in apache logs relating to this?BigTex wrote:But after doing so Apache would not start up.

"So do I have to do database upgrade or not?"If you are running a lower version of OTRS you have to follow the upgrade path
to 3.0 first (1.1->1.2->1.3->2.0->2.1->2.2->2.3->2.4->3.0->3.1 ...)!
Please note that if you upgrade from OTRS 2.2 or earlier, you have to
take an extra step; please read http://bugs.otrs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6798
Within a single minor version you can skip patch level releases if you want to
upgrade. For instance you can upgrade directly from OTRS 3.1.1 to version
3.1.4. If you need to do such a "patch level upgrade", you should skip steps
9, 11 and 13-19.
Please note that for upgrades from 3.1.beta1 or 3.1.beta2, an additional step 21
is needed!
okay. How does that change what I wrote?RRFARIA wrote:my database is 3.1.6 ....
I'm trying to upgrade to version 3.1.6 to 3.1.8
If it doesn't stop Apache, and therefore OTRS from working, this is a cosmetic warning.RRFARIA wrote:httpd.exe: could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name
Is this a constant error or just on start? Again, if it's just on start and cron is running, no big deal.RRFARIA wrote:Error:Can't open : No such file or directory at C:\PROGRA~2\OTRS\OTRS\bin\otrs.CronWin32.pl line 40
