(BUG REPORTED) NewPhoneTicket toolbar button

Hi,

Ticket -> Frontend::Agent::ModuleRegistration - this only works to remove "NewPhoneTicket" from the dropdown via group membership. Unfortunately not the button in the toolbar.

I've also tried Frontend::ToolBarModule###4-Ticket::AgentTicketPhone: Group: (groupname) but this hasn't worked either.

Is there anything else I can try?

I'm sorry I thought this was a help forum...? It's not as if I haven't already read all available info and tried the available settings. I think you're being a bit unfair here. This could be a bug I'm highlighting for all you know.

I would just like to remove the NewPhoneTicket button from the toolbar for those agents that aren't a member of a given group.

I tried adding a group to ToolBarModule###4-Ticket::AgentTicketPhone but it doesn't work.

As I stated above I've been able to configure the equivelent group in ModuleRegistration but this is only available for the 'NewPhoneTicket' dropdown and not the button

This is not possible without changing code. But I think this is a bug in OTRS -- IMHO it should check the group settings of the frontend module --, so you should file a bug at bugs.otrs.org.

I'm sorry, I still didn't understand the *original* question. You didn't ask one, and then you asked us for thoughts on it. Thanks for clarifying.

More to the point: A statement of "I did this and this {didn't] happen." doesn't constitute a question, nor does it illicit a response.

"I'm trying to remove this by doing this... But it appears that only this happens. What can I do to make this disappear?" Is an actionable question.
