importing article attachments after switching dbs

hi,

i changed the db type for attachment storage quite awhile ago. I recently came to know of the import utility to import the databse into the new db and ran it. However after over 2 hours the of running the utility and not seeing it end i assumed it had crashed though it kept giving messages. I am not sure if i did the right thing as some of the emails with attachments now cant even open. Could anyone see these logs and tell me if its ok to re-run the utility? Thanks!

I did try to use the MySql GUI tool to try to see if there was any ticketid with a ? but the utility cant seem to open otrs database. It seems i need to upgrade the mysql of otrs to fix this so im going to try it after i resolve this issue.

The errors are mysql related. The filesystem files that hold the tables in the directory where the mysql server seeks do not exist.

"How to fix?"
The answer varies because it's a filesystem problem. It's as if someone deleted article_attachment.MYD (alternatively, you passed incorrect params to the utility)
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
