crythias,
I have otrs 3.0.8 installed on Ubuntu. I am trying to stop one email coming into OTRS. We use Google mail. We have setup a one account for all the users(group account). When we have to send out System Wide notices or email, we use this account. I remove the 'helpdesk@gov.org' which was part of this group in google apps. I figure that this will stop it coming into otrs . We are still getting email from this group and a ticket is created. To stop this I created PostMaster filter as follow:
Filter Name:govfilter
Stop after Match:No
Header 1: From :groupaccount@gov.org (any thing coming from group account)
Header 2: to:helpdesk@gov.org
Mailing-list:CCalluser@gov.org
Set email HeaderX-OTRS-Article Type=IGNORE.
How can I filter out the group account from sending email to helpdesk@gov.org?
I tried to look through all the posting and tried to setup PM filter using different value but without any success.
Thank you,
Harish

Re: Postmaster Filter
Block it at gmail. Create a filter. Don't make it go to inbox.harish wrote:I am trying to stop one email coming into OTRS
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
