Hi,
I have a fresh install on Windows. I have configured the system for incoming and outgoing emails. I can fetch incoming emails without any problem and they open the ticket and put it in the right queue. Now the problem. There is no outgoing sender notification and no operator notification. When I look at otrs.log I can see the logging lines for the incoming mail connection but that's all. I cannot see any trace of outgoing SMTP connections.
I'm trying to find out what is missing. What do I have to configure to activate the SMTP module.

PS: In Core:Sendmail I can see all the options mentioned in the admin manual.

agents get notifications in preferences notifications yes and queue highlighted in "my queues"
customers get autoreplies if the autoreply is assigned to the queue, and if the customer doesn't say "no notifications" in the customer's preferences.

I have all notifications activated in the agent preferences and also the queue apears in My Queues but no email notification is sent!!

The queue must be highlighted in My Queues.

Hi, I have restarted my server and it seems that now is working!!! Now I see SMTP activity in the log so after some fine tunning with parameters now the agents are receiving emails. Now I have to setup the autoresponses for customers but this will be easy now that SMTP activity is normal.
