Send Agent Email When Ticket is Moved to A Different Queue

I have a personal queue setup for each technician. When a ticket comes in, it comes to a general queue. When I move the ticket to a technicians personal queue, I want them to get an email so they know they have a ticket in their queue for them to work on. I have tried setting up the notification on event, but it is not sending the email.

Can you help? I have attached a screenshot of my settings....

I should have this on speed-paste. agent preferences notifications yes and queue highlighted in my queues.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

I have all those settings in place... Still not sending the email...

That's how it works, so your logs should tell you it tried.

If john smith has a queue and in John Smith's preferences, he has his personal queue highlighted, and notifications yes, he will get notifications of tickets moved to his queue. If the ticket is assigned owner, he gets this notification anyway. If the ticket is locked to another agent, he may likely not get notification.

I understand what you are saying. I have read the documentation and I have it setup as stated in the docs and by you. Every other notification seems to be fine, but this simply wont work....

without logs or ticket history, I'm just going to assume that it's the way it's supposed to happen.

I checked the ticket history. It sent the move notification to every agent expect for mine, which is the one its supposed to send it to. Why is that?

Because you already know you moved it to your queue.

Yeah, just figured that one out on my own after logging in as root. So, NOW it all makes sense! :shock:
