OTRS Upgrade

Dear All,
we are currently using 3.0.5 OTRS and want to update to new version. We are using it on Windows Server 2008 R2. I have some questions,
1) Are there any sigificant changes from 3.0.5 to the latest stable version
2) Secondly how can I upgrade OTRS installation on WIndows.

Please excuse me if this question has already been asked.

1) Yes
2) ... varies, but you will need to upgrade to 3.1.12 test, and then upgrade to 3.2.1

There's no inherent difference in the *general* steps to upgrade OTRS. (Backup filesystem and database, stop services, overwrite with version to upgrade, run database schema updates, delete cache, rebuild config, lather, rinse, repeat for each major version).

There might be specific steps to read and follow for each version. (pre and post database schema updates, etc).
