Running SetPermissions.pl as root [SOLVED]

Can I run setpermissions.pl as root, or must I run it as the otrs user to get the permissions set correctly?

OTRS 3.1.8 on Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS with MySQL.

sure. obey the command line options.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
