This is my first post here, hi to everybody.
I tried to change the language in the customer login page by modifying OTRS’ settings, but I wasn't able to produce any change. I tried changing DefaultLanguage, but the page's language remained the same. I tested with different browsers (using different languages) and I read some posts in the forum and I understood that the language is set depending on the browser's language settings. I also read in a post that the language can't be fixed independently from the browser's settings.
Considering this, what is the use/purpose of DefaultLanguage? I have tried modifying it, but I have seen no apparent effect.
Does anyone know if the browser dependent language feature will be changed in the future, so that a default language can be forced?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Effect of changing DefaultLanguage
Default language would be more appropriate for new Agents and Customers. Established Agents and Customers would use their personal language.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

I tried that, but after creating a new customer, I logged in (without changing the default preferences) and the language was still the one forced by the browser. This is one of the things that made me think about what the use of DefaultLanguage is.
