Remove the base /otrs from the URL?

Remove the base /otrs from the URL?
In the Apache config file, provided with OTRS, is it possible to remove the base /otrs from the URL? The server running OTRS is dedicated to OTRS and does not run anything else. I'd like OTRS to be served from the root URL, because I have this Apache server as part of an upstream in Nginx, and it'd simplify things.

OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
