3.2.7 Upgrade issue with Windows Installer 3 Beta3

Hello guys,

After trying to upgrade from 3.2.6 to 3.2.7 on Windows when the Web installer lunch it says it cant connect. When I restart the services I get this error:

I'd first look at line 36 of c:\Program Files\...\httpd.conf and observe the ServerRoot directive and see if the entry is a valid directory.

Thanks Crythias for your quick replay. Look, I fixed lines 36 and 180 respectively but now I get a different error message.

ServerRoot "C:/Apache" ==> ServerRoot "C:/Progra~1/OTRS/Apache"


DocumentRoot "C:/Apache/htdocs" ==> DocumentRoot "C:/Progra~1/OTRS/Apache/htdocs"

I don't know how to answer your question. How did you upgrade using an installer package? What steps did you take and did you try to follow any particular instructions on the web for this upgrade?

First of all did not follow any particular instructions since I did not find any. I just backup my DB, Config. and my .yml files then ran the otrs-3.2.7-win-installer-3.0.0-beta3.exe.

Any suggestion will be welcome.

You probably don't want to run the installer.pl again. The ticketing system may already work or may not, but it's really hard to diagnose on this back-and-forth because the configuration is unique to your system.

I successfully upgraded to 3.2.7 using the manual procedure that always work like a charm and using the 2.4.7 installer (otrs-3.2.7-win-installer-2.4.7.exe).

Next stop: Migrate to stock install.
