I am running OTRS 3.1.11 on openSUSE 12.1. I want to upgrade to OTRS 3.2.7 on openSUSE 12.3 (newer box with more RAM and more drive space). I want to be able to fall back to the old system if this does not work.
The Upgrading document lists step 4 as install new system, and step 5 as install latest OTRS rpm. When does my old version database get imported to my new hardware? step 4(a)? Am I supposed to install my old version of OTRS on the new system as step 4(b) then continue to ugrade that version at step 5?
