Use OTRS as a KM for Zenoss?

Hi,

I am new to OTRS. I am looking for software that can integrate with Zenoss. What we want to do is find software that we can use as a Knowledge Management site for our closed events in Zenoss. We close items in Zenoss, putting a description in the log of Zenoss for how we fixed the event. However, the log is not searchable. So, when the same event comes up, we have to research again. If we integrate Zenoss with OTRS, can OTRS pull over what is in the log so we can see a listing of the MS Event ID and the solution? If this is not possible, can OTRS pull over the events, have us close them in OTRS, is there a way to create a report in OTRS to see the event ID and the solution? Please let me know if this is possible with OTRS.
