Hi, first post here and new using OTRS, my company installed OTRS some time ago (ver 2.0) and want to install version 3.2.
What i Did:
Ive installed in a new server (win server 2008) the last version of OTRS 3.2, deleted the database "otrs" (in mysql) and created a new one with the same name.
Prior to that i backup the data base of the old installation.
Then restored the old database > in the database I've created (the one in the OTRS 3.2) , then updated the db from 2.4 (curious because think the database was in 2.0 but gave me errors telling me that some tables were repeated or already created so the system its in 2.0 but the database its in 2.4), well, follow the update path upgrading the database just with the (DBUpdate-to-3.0.mysql.sql - DBUpdate-to-3.0-post.mysql.sql)--> (DBUpdate-to-3.1.mysql.sql - DBUpdate-to-3.1-post.mysql.sql)-->(DBUpdate-to-3.2.mysql.sql), dont used the .pl files assuming that upgrade something in the system and ive installed the last version, so just upgraded with those files.
The Problem: After all that, the system its "up", but cant login with the users of the old database, i know maybe a missed something, but the documentation for OTRS in Windows its almost nonexistent . ANY HELP would be appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Problem Upgrading from 2.0 to 3.2 in Windows
