Hello,
Very new to OTRS but would like to install it to my web hosting account if possible? My host is Falcoda UK who give me up to 5 MySQL dbs within my service, it's a LAMP service. First thing, is this possible so I would be able to access and log in to OTRS from anywhere on the internet? Secondly, even if it is possible to get the db into my web host, would I still require a local server somewhere running some OTRS services? Ideally I would like to do it without a local server.
If this is possible can someone please offer some advice or perhaps there are guides (I had a search and look in the how to section but couldn't find anything).
Thanks!

Re: OTRS in LAMP web hosting?
Official documentation and support suggests you should need to update apache's config requiring root level access. If you are able to accomplish the same tasks in .htaccess, you may be successful. Note also you'll need to add specific perl modules that may not be available, as well as shell access and cron access in order to run tests and verify proper operation.
