No FDQN - Apache Crashes

Post by wcotis60 »

I do not have an FDQN available, so the Apache service stops every 5 minutes or so.

How can I correct this?

Can I simply use the "Computer Name"?

That doesn't appear to be the reason Apache service will quit. Chances are, it's conflicting on port with skype or teamviewer or something

I changed the FQDN to the "Computer Name" and this corrected my problem.

This only seemed to fix the issue, as the service now stops and restarts several times per day.

This server is only intranet, does not have a FDQN available.
