gentlemen,

After configuring LDAP authentication for clients can not add customers to the system via the frontend.

You can configure OTRS to use two authentication methods? I wish my internal users were logged from LDAP and my external customers were added via the frontend DB procedure. is it possible?

Can you direct me to the location of the manual that has this setting not found in what I did read.

It's called multiple backends.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
