i trying to install one .opm file package manager option not working . log error is below

The XML of the opm is not valid. Did you change anything in the .opm? Was the download successful? Is it a public available package? if so, which package is it?

Can you show us the .opm? (if it is not "secret"). Just to rename the file (without changing the content) doesn't lead to trouble...

opm package is sms event.

Please find the attachment rename file.i think non public package?

how to solve this error??

Note:: all attached file do not use anybody ,this file error or non-public package

The xml is clean. Did you save the file as utf-8? The attachment is in iso-8859-1, but that might be an issue of the forum.

You don't need to change XML. Did you check in which charset the .opm is saved? On linux you can use "file -i /path/to/Sms....opm".

i am done this steps
1. down load sms event package
2. admin-package - manager
3. choose file - sms event package
4. install package on click

after error happen and i am verify log
that time above error ..

so i think package is not installed. starting error .

any help solving this error? can u tell how to clean the xml..........

OTRS still works, right? You can still start the package manager, right? If not, please post the error messages. And please describe in detail what you're doing.

check if the package is already in the database:

 select id, name from package_repository

and remove it.
