iPhone App - Credential Storage

I'm looking to use the iPhone app but am concerned about storing my credentials on the phone. I use LDAP authentication in my setup which is nice because my OTRS password is my system password (eg, not another password to remember). Unfortunately, this means that my OTRS password is my system password, so I don't really want to store it on the phone. Does the iPhone app/OTRS use something other than password storage (such as oAuth)? Or is there a way to set up a secondary password that can be "safely" stored on the phone?
