upgrading from 3.1.4 to 3.2.10 on windows server

i have been running otrs 3.1.4 for more than a year,and it is running perfect,now we have decided to shift the otrs to new server,and i was planning to install new version which is 3.2.10.....as there is not much help available for windows user about but i am in great need of your help. this is what going on.....i installed 3.2.10 on windows 2008 ,which was successful then i created a new database otrs on it through web installer and set root@localhost user credentials and then restored the backup.sql from 3.1.4 otrs in to it by using this command as shown below

mysql -uroot otrs < backup.sql....now once i try to log on it says following '

session invalid ,login again

please help me out,,,what i am doing wrong

read the UPGRADING file and the admin manual on http://doc.otrs.org

one thing that i don't have to go through a chain of upgrading from lower version all that way up to 3.2.10 as my current version is 3.1.4...so i can directly upgrade ...right ???....and as for the documentation goes it does tell enough about otrs upgrade on windows, all it tells about Linux ,

the UPGRADING files gives the instructions from the previous version (3.1.x) to the actual one (3.2.x)

There is no big difference between Linux and Windows for the upgrade. You should be able to adapt it
