Re: Release Notes: OTRS Appliance 1.0 Beta1
I must say this is a very easy install version of OTRS.
I also tested the creation of an backup and restored that also and the system was up and running with the known useraccounts.
So when reinstalling the system is needed, for now no problem.
I do have a question though, is it possible to transfer my current database version OTRS 3.2.9 to this appliance?

Hi,
I like the Aplliance, too.
I think it should be possible to use an existing database, once you configure it correctly in Config.pm.
I don't have it running for now, so I can not test.

Re: Release Notes: OTRS Appliance 1.0 Beta1
Well that will be a problem for me on how to solve this.
But, I found a site: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Converting ... PostgreSQL
But this is a ver complex issue, is it possible to use MySQL instead of PostresSQL of make a choice when installing?
I would like to switch to this release when it is final, but don't want to start all over again.
Thank you

Thank you so much for the news team! I was shocked last night when I read the news in the OTRS portal...did not see it coming.
Great job, congratulations and thank you so much for your invaluable support.
