Error During Ajax Communication

Hello.
I have a problem with fresh installed OTRS. I have used windows installer of different versions to install OTRS on windows server 2008 R2. The result with any of installers is the same When I open http://localhost/otrs/installer.pl and on step 3 click "Check mail configuration" the window shown on screenshot pop up.

Can somebody help me to solve this problem ?

Hi,

see the logfiles. Or check if YAML::XS is installed. If Yes, try to deinstall and check again.

Better: Use Linux systems ;)

Today I installed OTRS on ubuntu server. But the result was the same. YAML::XS is not installed.
Where can I find the logfiles?

Hi,

it is fresh installed? :? strange.

logs are /var/log/syslog or /var/log/messages

and /var/log/apache2/error.log

cpan YAML::XS
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

read the INSTALL part of the admin manual.

Install needed perl modules via distrubution package system (dpkg or apt). If in doubt how to do, ask your Linux admin
"Production": OTRS™ 8, OTRS™ 7, STORM powered by OTRS
"Testing": ((OTRS Community Edition)) and git Master

check the logfiles or do the mail config later (it could be an issue with the smtp or pop/imap connection)

Strange is that if I use mailbox configured on Exchange 2007 everything is fine. But if I used Exchange 2010's mailbox I got this error
