Developer Manual - "run" the Sysconfig?

Hi again,

i have some trouble to unterstand the developer documentation.

As soon as the linking is completed, the Sysconfig must be run to register the module in OTRS

And how to run the Sysconfig? What does that mean?

And how i can create the needed *.sopm file?

I don't get it.

There is a difference between deploying a custom module/package and making customizations to OTRS.
If you would like to describe what you're attempting to accomplish (end game, not simply attempting to make sense of the documentation), we might be able to help. Also, perhaps help you not recreate the wheel.
