How to implement Shibboleth on OTRS?

Hi,
Has anyone applied shibboleth on OTRS? I have tried all methods I have found on forums,for example:

with the idea of using HTTPBasicAuth. But i can not bypass the login page of otrs after authentication via shibboleth. I thought the goal of these method is filling the local DB after authentication of a valid user by the use of the values in HTTP headers. And with considering REMOTE_ USER enviroinment variableI.But It was not working and I dont know where the problem is.I have even found patches on following link http://lists.otrs.org/pipermail/otrs/20 ... 36313.html ,but I had a number of errors including a loop at login page. Unfortunately I was not sure if the patches themselves are correct. I posted this in Shibboleth mailing list but nobody could help me, I would be very grateful if anyone can guide me in this matter.

Shibboleth is Authentication. You still need to provide a source of user demographics.
