Configure OTRS Appliance with zimbra server

Hi, I want to know if there is a way to configure OTRS Appliance (with OTRS Help Desk 3.3.1) to use zimbra server as the mail server. I put all the related options to "mail" in configuration to use or zimbra server using imap, however this never works, it can not fetch mail from the zimbra server, also, I can not find any reference on how to do this.

I have ask in other forums to no avail, so my question is, is this even possible? can I configure otrs appliance to use a mail server, do I need somethig special to do this?

Sorry if this look like little information, but I cant use this otrs without mail server.

What do the logs say? How can we replicate your experience? What's stopping you? Is it a firewall issue? Password? Improper setup? Invalid? What have you tried? What have you experienced? What happens when you fetch from PostMaster Mailboxes web interface?
