OTRS and Offcie 365

Hi All,

We recently moved over from an internal email server to Office 365.

We are able to see that we are receiving emails through the Webmail, but are unable to "Pull these through" as such to display in our internal helpdesk system.

As we are running an older version of OTRS, we have no option to configure a port (at least I am aware of)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which protocol does Office 365 support?

- POP3
- POP3S
- IMAP
- IMAPS
- POP3TLS

Can you be able to forward emails to an email address that your OTRS box can receive or pull from?

We only have an option to use POP3 and IMAP. Office 365 support POP3 and IMAP4.

We're running OTRS 2.4.7 on Windows.

Our emails are currently configured to be pulled straight away. We'd need another server to do that, but unfortunately all of our servers are now "in the cloud" with Office 365

I would consider this but upgrading OTRS is also a priority.

I doubt I will be able to do this as I cannot have multiple email servers.

There aren't any other *good* options.
You may:

• attempt to update the email interface parts from github to the latest and hope nothing breaks
• Upgrade OTRS(!)
• lower security on Office365
• Have Office 365 forward email to *anywhere* and pull from that account. And I mean anywhere...

read the UPGRADING documents of all needed versions.

You have to go

2.4.7 -> 3.0.22 -> 3.1.21-> 3.2.16 -> 3.3.6
