Advise Please

I was wondering, When a PDF is generated (print anything) where does the PDF get stored?

I'm assuming that it get generated in Var > spool
but where does it get moved to after this?

I'm just curious to see if the old reports that have been generated get saved anywhere and if they can be retrived so that we can see a snapshot of the goings on over a few days etc.

PDFs are generated "on the fly" by the PDF::API and directly sent to the browser, so there is no local repository.
