How to enter a ticket

Guys i am new to this, just installed all this on a debian box yesterday.

So im trying understand how i can start using the tools to enter tickets. I am assuming that i can goto tickets and select phone ticket. The problem i have is the customer section. I create customers but most of our customers are companies. I tried to create a company customer but those dont appear in the drop down. I really dont want to enter a first name, last name, etc. Rather i just want to create company customers and use those to create tickets. Can anyone please let me know how to do that?
