MOTD idea

I have an idea, which I haven't yet implemented, to create a queue called "MOTD" and in it create tickets that the body will appear on the MOTD when they're not closed.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

Would this be in lui of having to edit /Kernel/Output/HTML/Standard/Motd.dtl to update the MOTD module in the dashboard?
