watch option (subscribe) doesnt appear

activated the ticket watcher option but the describe option doesnt appear in tickets

like the screenshot in http://doc.otrs.org/3.0/en/html/ticket-watcher.html
(I did follow all the steps in the doc and I do get the mods in the dashboard but still cant watch a ticket)

anyone got any clues, clueless here

In case it helps...
I just turned this on in 3.1.0.beta2 and the 'subscribe' button is now called 'watch'.
Also it wasn't obvious to me that you click the little orange eye icon in the top left row of symbols to view watched tickets. I thought there would be a dashboard group or a new watched entry in the queues menu.
