Queues should be the types of agents who can service a customer's request.
(Plumbing, Printing, Maintenance)
Groups are permission to access queues
Roles are categories of agents with given queue (or group) permissions. This is useful for assigning mass queues to an agent simply by assigning a role.

See this HowTo about groups:

thanks crythias, i have read your linked topic before i post myself, but i have problems since i wanted to create my customer companies in otrs and my agents who takes tickets from the different companies.

Where do i create my customer companie 1 ? Is it the "customer" (where i can not add the cutomer companies name) or "customer companies" (where i can not link a "customer")

hope you understand my problem.

I don't know if I do understand...

Basically, whatever you use as the CustomerID in a company, you should also use as the CustomerID for the company's employees (your customers).
