About otrs backup file in windows

Hi,

I have tried to take the backup of otrs using mysql query.
And the query i have used is

# mysqldump -u root@localhost -p root otrs > otrsbackup1.sql

i not sure about this query.......

But when i check the file the file was empty.

Anybody please show me where i do wrong....and what i should do for a back up on windows...
i am also gone through other posts related with the back up....but i didn't get exactly what i have to do.....
please guide me by steps....
