TCP connection not closed correctly on client side

Hello.

We found some problems with closing tcp conncetion on client side.

Sometimes on client side we have TCP connection in ESTABLISHED state, that are on server side has been already closed. Usually this problem is appears when we try to view ticket in a "Show all articles" mode and often some of articles is not displayed. During this period OTRS is unavailable and we need wait some time while these connections will be closed on client and new will be established.

This problem appears on all OS/browsers so there are no problem on client side. Also we have check all on network level and looks like there are no problems on it too. So looks like the problem on aplication level.

Some details:
OS Web server: Centos 5.7
Apache: httpd-2.2.3-53.el5.centos.1 (mod_perl)
OTRS: 3.0.11

Could someone explain what could be the cause of it.
