internet explorer6 browser error

hi experts!
i am new to otrs.i have installed otrs3.1.2 at my centos.instant. i have internet explorer6.
but while opening agent panel(index.pl)i got browser error message.but while opening customer panel(customer.pl) it runs smoothly.my main point is why agent cant login in ie6 ?where should i change so that it is able to open(index.pl) on IE6 browser...
i am getting following error...

Please read the documentation! IE6 and IE7 can not be used in 3.1 (also ie6 can not be used in 3.0)

but if customer.pl can run the browser efficiently,then why cant run index.pl
if ie6 does not support otrs,in that case it sholud not open customer.pl..but customer.pl is running well.then why cant agent cant see that index.pl

the customer interface is partly usable with the IE6 but not the agent interface. Please read the release notes and switch to a modern browser

In defaults.pm agent setting for IE6 browser mentioned.so i think it has to work,but not working...

As I already said, the IE6 and 7 are not supported as stated in the release notes:
