- 1. When OTRS receives an email with another email attached (.msg file) from MS Office the attachments are not handled right. In the web frontend the attachments are listed as file-1, file-2 ... There is no way to see what type they are. every message attached leads to 2 files like this. when you open them the contain text in one line without any format.
- 2. Another problem we have with OTRS and attachment is that OTRS discards the attachments if an agent forwards an article with attachments to another email adress. OTRS shows the attachments in the article that it creates, but the email, that the customer gets is without any attachment.
We use the filesystem for attachment storage. But that shouldn't be the problem.
