Date fields switched to current date when updating CMDB

Date fields switched to current date when updating CMDB
I am using OTRS v3.0.5. I found that the date fields in the CMDB records when I press the edit. That is, if I want to add a line in the description, I had to revert the date back to the original record or else all of them will be changed to today. Is there a way to stop this as it is screwing up all my records!!
